Eurovision – an example for us

And I thought there was nothing in Eurovision…. 🙂

It is that time of year….the Eurovision Song Contest. I write this as I am trying to avoid watching any of it. But before I could change channel I found some interesting elements in the opening preamble. There was lots of discussion about how to vote through text or app, although for some reason this was not possible in the UK.

Why was this interesting? Well for me it highlighted that the old and new can and should be brought together. The Eurovision contest has been around for many years following a tried and tested format. Social media, apps, digital etc is all new and a more recent addition to modern life.

Bringing the two together, the old and new, is something we are all trying to do on a daily basis. It is part of how we evolve and improve life. The arrival of social media and the development…
